EMail password recovery not sent, how to debug?

EMail password recovery not sent, how to debug?

I am running V3, not sure which sub version because none of the files in the installed directory reveal that? I think it is 3.26 from memory.

I checked my username and email are correct in the users table in tbg database. But I do not receive the email. So now I look to see if there is anything in thebuggenie.log file in the installed directory for tbg, nothing in there. So where to now to find out why it does not send that precious email to me?
