Cannot edit subscribers of issue

I am getting HTTP 403 Forbidden when trying to alter subscribers list for a issue.
Please, see attached image showing steps to reproduce the problem.

I have double checked directory permissions (chmod -R g+r * and chgrp -R mygroup *)

I have seen that /public/toggle_favourite_issue is a route to function runToggleFavouriteIssue but that never gets called (I have put some var_dump)

Nothing on forum topics or issues site about 403 like what I am getting.

I have copied site to another installation, enabled TBG debug mode and nothing appears when reproducing the AJAX call (only a message like 'no debug available')

I am on a shared host and cannot edit nginx config (I guess)

Please somebody gimme a hint where to look at. I am not a PHP dev (have Ruby/Rails experience).

This appears to be a known bug that should be addressed in the next update.

Please see the following post for more info and a possible/partial fix:

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I had already seen and implemented the fix you referenced.
But, I don't think that fix have anything to do with this bug.

Can you show me I'm wrong?
Thanks,

Sorry, I missed that you had already been active on the other thread. I am getting the 403 error as well and have not yet found a fix. I'll let you know if I do before the next update.

Cheers.

I could not reproduce the issue on hosted TBG (thebuggenie.com)
There, it works.
I thought I should let you know, since you may have access to the code there.

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately I am just a regular user and don't have access to the hosted code. Maybe someone who does could chime in?

It sounds like it's a permissions error, but I can't pin down where. It's possible/likely that hosted is using the latest stable release (4.1.0) so the bug has not yet been introduced there. At any rate, it will hopefully be fixed in the next release.
